Common problems and answers of chopper mixer


Q: Excessive noise during the rotation of the blade shaft

A: Abnormal noise occurs when the cutter shaft rotates, mainly due to damage to the spindle bearing or excessive weight difference of the cutter. The solution is to replace the spindle bearing and check that the weight difference between the two blades of each blade group should be less than 2 grams, otherwise the tools need to be re ground.


Q: The chopping pot does not rotate

A: The inability of the chopper to operate may be caused by various reasons: motor reversal or wire reversal, severe wear of the worm pulley or belt, locking of the lower sliding bearing of the worm gear shaft due to lack of oil, and severe wear of the gear teeth of the reducer. It is necessary to inspect and replace the relevant components to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.


Q: The blade cover shaft rotates but the blade cover does not open

A: When this situation occurs, check whether the expansion sleeve tightening screw on the blade cover shaft is loose. The solution is to tighten the expansion sleeve and set screws to ensure that the knife cover can be opened and closed normally, avoiding affecting the normal operation of the equipment.


Q: Poor sealing and severe material leakage

A: Damaged sealing gasket or excessive loading can cause material leakage in the chopper. The solution is to replace the damaged sealing gasket and pay attention to controlling the feeding amount to avoid overfilling. Q: The chopper cannot operate at high speed

A: Low and medium speed can start, but high speed does not operate or the contactor makes a flashing sound, which may be due to low control voltage.
